Auckland Windsurfing Association was formed by windsurfers for windsurfers.

Our goals are simple:

Provide a collective voice for windsurfers when our playground is at risk
Organise competitions and events within the Auckland region
Promote and grow the sport of windsuring within Auckland

23-31/10/2010 Life's a Breeze - Windsurf into Summer

The winds are stronger, the days are longer so its time to get that windsurfer thats been lurking in your garage out. Check everything is still working and safe, and get back onto the water.

Starting with the Taranaki Wavesailing Classic, one of New Zealands biggest and most social event on the windsurfing calendar, this week will feature a number of activities around the country to mark the start of the 'windsurfing season'.
Windsurfing clubs will be holding social activities to get existing and new members on the water.

Tabou/Gaastra have stepped up to run the freestyle competition again this year. With another season under their belts the top guys and girls have put on a great show.
